CARGO AND TRANSPORTATION
Cargo
When cargoing vehicle, respect these
maximum loads.
Transportation
When transporting a vehicle, secure
vehicle to trailer with suitable tie-
downs. Using ordinary ropes is not rec-
ommended.
WARNING
Indicates a potential hazard that could result in serious injury or death.
WARNING
The vehicle handling, stability
and braking distance are affected
when loading racks and using the
vehicle. Correct loading and
weight distribution are therefore
important. Never overload, tow
or carry cargo improperly. Al-
ways ensure the cargo is safely
secured and properly distributed
on the rack(s) before operating
the vehicle. Safely reduce speed
according to terrain conditions
when carrying cargo or pulling a
trailer. Allow greater distance for
breaking. Always secure cargo as
low as possible on the rack(s) to
reduce the effect of a higher cen-
ter of gravity. Failure to follow the
recommendations here could
cause changes in vehicle han-
dling which could lead to an acci-
dent resulting in severe injuries
including the possibility of death.
For more information, see the
Safety Handbook
.
WARNING
Never tip this vehicle on end for
transporting. We recommend
that you carry the vehicle in its
normal operating position (on all
four wheels).
