Bollé Safety masks comply with prevailing European standards.
They satisfy the requirements of the European PPE regulation EU 2016/425, regarding equipment for individual protection and is
made according to the requirements of the standard EN166: 2001.
Bollé Safety auto-darkening or active filters of welding are to be used with care.

The auto-darkening filter B9V comply with standard EN 379.
Safety precaution :
The areas in which Bollé Safety auto-darkening filters are used are described in the technical data sheet in this note.
Before each use, make sure you are using the filter for its intended area of use.
For your safety, and to be in compliance with prevailing standards, these filters must be protected on both sides by a polycarbonate protective shield.
No guarantee will be granted for damaged filters used without protective shields. Using a filter without the protective shields can seriously damage the
filter and compromise your safety.
Auto-darkening filters provide level 13 protection against ultraviolet and infrared rays, whether in their clear state or their darkened state.
Upkeep :
Before each use, check that the filters are in proper condition: make sure the filter darkens when exposed to light, and comes to clear when
the light turns off. If the filter doesn’t react replace the worn or damaged parts.
The protective filters must be replaced when cracked, chipped or scratched.
Do not immerse the filter in water or other liquids.
Filters may be cleaned with detergent applied to a cotton cloth. Do not apply the detergent directly to the filters. Do not use abrasives, solvents or
oil-based detergents.
Warning: the sensors need to be kept clear and clean to work properly.
Storage :
Do not store near a heat source. Do not expose to direct sunlight. The storage temperature must be b5°C (41°F) and +25°C (77°F)
inclusive.
Spare parts:
Please only use original spare parts. Contact your local Bollé Protection dealer.
Warning :
The products must be used at between -10°C (14°F) and +60°C (140°F) inclusive.
Use these products only according to the areas of use specified in this note.
For your safety, and to be in conformity with prevailing standards, mineral filters must be protected on both sides by a polycarbonate protective shield.
