TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSES CORRECTIVE ACTION
Collector doesn’t lock on place easily. Collector slots are not well installed
on both sides grooves from bottom
pin (item 10). Make sure both sides are well
installed on bottom pin.
Mounting pins (item 11) are not
installed exactly at the right position. Loose mounting bolts (item 34) until
collector clip easily in place. Then,
re tighten mounting bolts.
Mounting hitch (item 2) is not
installed exactly at the right position. Loose mounting bolts (item 33) until
collector clip easily in place. Then,
re tighten mounting bolts.
Latch is still secured in place by
knobs and carriage bolts. Remove two knobs and carriage
bolts (one on each side).
Too much friction on latches. Lubricate latches pivot point.
Grass is escaping from collection
system. One seal is damaged. Replace broken seal.
Collection system is not fully
installed (discharge baffle uder the
deck is missing for example). Recheck installation of the
collection system and deck kit.

Lid is not closed properly. Close the lid and latch properly.
Discharge tube escapes from chute
when mower deck is lowered. Rubber latch (item 28) is broken or
not installed at full tension. Replace latch or install it at full
tension.
