To install the amplifier and additional wiring harness 
(for cars with a battery in the engine compartment) with an on-board monitor radio

Cut open the rubber grommet (40) for the airbag 
mounting plate. 
Push the black 25-pin connection plug on the 
radio/amplifier adapter cable 

A

 through it.

Connect the radio/amplifier adapter cable 

A

 to the 

amplifier (1). 
Attach the 25-pin connection plug (40) on the 
adapter cable 

A

 to the plug strip (41) and press it 

in the direction indicated by the arrow with a large 
flat screwdriver (42) until it audibly engages in the 
amplifier casing.

Place the rubber grommet (40) into the recess in 
the airbag mounting plate (41).

0

Secure the rubber engagement pin (40) on the 
rubber grommet (41) with cable ties (18).
