when raising

Component damage cause by
tipping over

Secure the motorcycle against
tipping to the side, preferably
with the assistance of a second
person.
Push motorcycle onto transport
surface, and do not place on
side stand or center stand.

ATTENTION

Pinching of components

Component damage

Do not pinch components,
e.g. brake lines or wiring
harnesses.
Route tie-down straps through
the left and right sides of the
fork brace and then tighten
them by pulling down.

Secure and tighten the luggage
straps at the rear on the brack-
ets for the passenger footrests
on both sides.
Tension all of the straps evenly
to ensure that the vehicle is
safely and reliably secured in
position.
