Cleaning/care
Removing road salt
• When the journey is over,
wash the motorcycle immedi-
ately with cold water
Do not use warm water – this ag-
gravates the effect of the salt.
• Thoroughly dry the motorcy-
cle
• Apply a wax-based corrosion-
proofing product to chrome-
plated parts
• Coat/polish fairing elements
with a recommended wax
after cleaning and drying
Cleaning windshield and
fins
• Remove dirt and dead insects
with a soft sponge and plenty
of water
Soften stubborn dirt or insects
by soaking with a wet paper
towel.
Do not use detergent products.
Fuel or chemical solvents at-
tack the windshield material.
