Letters and digits
Entering letters and digits
1. Turn the controller: selects letters or digits.
2. If applicable, select other letters or digits.
3. "OK": confirm the input.
Switching between letters and digits
Depending on the menu, you can switch
between the input of letters and digits:
Input matching for navigation
Input of names and addresses: the selection is
gradually narrowed down and possibly supple-
mented with every subsequent letter that you
enter.
Destination search: inputs are continuously
compared with the data stored in the vehicle.
> Only letters for addresses that have data are
offered during input.
> Town/city names can be entered in the syn-
tax of all the languages available on the
Control Display.
Symbol Function
Press the controller: deletes
a letter or digit
Press and hold down the
controller: deletes all num-
bers or letters
Enters a space
