BMW Touch Command
General
Rear-seat entertainment can either be operated
via the touchscreen or via BMW Touch Com‐
mand.

Operation via BMW Touch
Command
BMW Touch Command can be connected to the
left or right screen in the rear.
1. Switch on BMW Touch Command.
2. Select the Entertainment menu in the main
menu: "Media"
3. Touch L to operate the left screen in the rear.
Touch R to operate the right screen in the
rear.
Operation and softkeys
On BMW Touch
Command Function
Drag up or down. Highlight the menu
item.
Scroll.
Swipe to the left or
right.
Touch the symbol
on the left or right side
of the screen.
Switch between
screens.
Scroll backwards and
forwards.
Touch the screen. Confirm selection.
Tap the sym‐
bol.
To call up the main
menu.
Tap the sym‐
bol.
To call up the previ‐
ous screen.
On BMW Touch
Command Function
Tap the sym‐
bol.
To call up the Options
menu.
Tap the symbol. To adjust the volume.
Set the sound output
via headphones or ve‐
hicle loudspeakers.
Tap the symbol. L for the left screen in
the rear.
R for the right screen
in the rear.
Symbols on the BMW Touch
Command
Different symbols are displayed on the BMW
Touch Command screen, depending on the se‐
lected menu.
The functions which correspond to the symbols
shown are performed as described in chapter
Entertainment.
Sound output via
headphones and the
vehicle loudspeakers
General
The sound from a selected entertainment source
can be output in the rear either via headphones
or via the vehicle loudspeakers.
Safety note
WARNING
Having the volume of the sound output on a
high setting can damage your hearing. There is
a risk of injury. Do not have the volume on a
high setting.
