which parking information is available can
be displayed.
▷ "On-Street Parking": select which type of
on-street parking spaces are shown, for
example only parking spaces that are free
of charge.
▷ "Points of interest": select Point of Inter‐
est categories for the parking map.
Vehicles with combustion
engine: refuelling map
Principle
The refuelling map makes it easier to find filling
stations. The remaining range is calculated and
service stations along the route are displayed as
required.
Depending on the national-market version, online
information – fuel prices, for example – is avail‐
able for filling stations.

Calling up functions
1. Press the button on the Controller.
2. Tilt the Controller to the right.
3. "Theme map"
4. "Petrol station map"
5. Tilt the Controller to the right.
6. Select the desired setting:
▷ "Suggested station": display refuelling
recommendations. If no refuelling recom‐
mendations are available for the active
route guidance or route guidance has not
been started, a search for filling stations in
the vicinity is performed.
▷ "Place to stop": for active route guidance,
a Point of Interest search can be used to
schedule stopping places for refuelling
along the route.
▷ "Info about stations": display additional in‐
formation; for example, fuel prices.
Setting up the map
Setup
1. Press the button on the Controller.
2. Tilt the Controller to the right.
3. "Set up map"
4. Select the desired setting:
▷ "Map views": to select the map view.
▷ "Zoom behaviour": select the scale.
▷ "Auto zoom": if route guidance is ac‐
tive, the map is automatically enlarged
when approaching a manoeuvre.
▷ "Manual zoom": to enlarge or reduce
the map scale manually.
▷ "Route overview": to display the route
between the location and destination.
▷ "Map contents": select the map content.
▷ "Points of interest": symbols for Points
of Interest are shown.
▷ "Traffic flow": lines are displayed for
traffic flow for Real Time Traffic Infor‐
mation RTTI.
▷ "Traffic events": symbols are displayed
for traffic incidents for Real Time Traf‐
fic Information RTTI.
▷ BMW iX3:
"Range": the range with the current
programme of the Driving Experience
Control and, if applicable, based on the
active route is displayed as a coloured
circle on the map.
▷ "Route guidance info": when route
guidance is active, route guidance in‐
formation is displayed along the route.
