Additional information can be displayed on the
right side of the split screen, e.g., information
from the computer.
The option of which information to display can
be selected.
Switching the split screen on/off*
1. Open “Options”.
2. “Split screen”
The split screen is activated and the informa-
tion remains displayed, even if another menu is
selected.

Voice activation system*
The voice activation system allows you to opera-
te certain features via a spoken command.
Most text which is displayed on the Control
Display may be voice-activated.
Example: calling up the FM waveband
1. Press the button on the steering wheel.
2. Say >Radio<.

Presets
Tone
3. Say >FM<.
The list of available radio stations is displayed.
Having the possible commands read aloud
1. Press the button on steering wheel.
2. Say >Voice commands<.
Tip
You may store the split screen display mode*
also under the favorites buttons.
Tip
You may also use a so-called short command
to call up the function directly, e.g., “Radio on”,
“Perspective map”*, or “Redial”. To give those
commands, speak without hesitation, loudly
and clearly. Avoid background noise such as
open windows.
