In both the ABS and ASC sys-
tems, the level of wheel slip is
optimised for each riding surface.
Detailed information regard-
ing the off-road mode can
be found in the section entitled
"Engineering details".
Adjust off-road mode
with off-road mode ABS and
ASC
OE
Prerequisite: On-road riding is
active.
The off-road mode (enduro)
is not intended for normal
on-road riding. Riding on-road
with the off-road mode (enduro)
activated can produce instability
when braking if the ABS cuts in
or under acceleration if the ASC
intervenes. This could cause a
fall.
Switch on the off-road mode
(enduro) for off-roading only.
Switching on ignition ( 36).
If a riding mode was selec-
ted prior to switching the
ignition off, it remains further act-
ive after anew starting.
Press button 1 .
Mode adjustment is activated.

Operate button 1 again.

While riding: If the prerequis-
ites for riding mode adjust-
ments mentioned below are
met, the off-road mode is activ-
ated:
Throttle twistgrip in idle posi-
tion
Brake not applied
Clutch pulled
At standstill: Activation takes
place after approx. 2 seconds.
