Automatic switch-off

The socket is automatically
switched off during the start-
ing operation.
The power supply to the sock-
ets is switched off no more
than 15 minutes after the igni-
tion is switched off, in order to
prevent overloading of the on-
board electrics. Low-wattage
electrical accessories might not
be recognised by the vehicle’s
electronics. In such cases,
power sockets are switched
off very shortly after the ignition
is turned off.
The power socket is switched
off if the battery voltage is too
low to maintain the vehicle's
starting capability.
The power socket is also
switched off when the
maximum load capability as
stated in the technical data is
exceeded.
