If anomalies or damage, which may compromise the operation and safety of the device, are
observed, it is to be immediately removed from its service.
The device shall exclusively be used according to the instructions specified in this Operating
Manual.
It shall not be exposed to and even less in contact with combustion thermal sources and flammable
agents.
4.2
ABNORMAL
USES
This stretcher-trolley is designed and adapted to medical practices and procedures and
therefore to a specific use. Any abnormal use thereof may cause accidents for the user or
even irremediable damage.
The following list of abnormal uses of the stretcher-trolley is not exhaustive and BMB MEDICAL
relies on the user's good sense.

Use by any person who has not read the Operating Manual.

Use by any person who is not part of the healthcare personnel, who has not been
authorized and not received clarifications from a qualified person.

Use for a small-sized person (smaller than 1.30 m) or a person under 12 years old
without the bar and pediatric kit.
-
Handling by a child.
-
Using the stretcher-trolley with a load exceeding the safety operating load of 250 kg.
-
Using the frame for laying down or storing objects.
-
Using the oxygen system under the lying surface.
-
Use in the presence of a flammable anaesthetizing mixture.
-
Use outside the hospital or on a floor not designed for this purpose.

Use on a floor with a slope exceeding 10°.
-
Cleaning the stretcher-trolley thoroughly with a high-pressure or vapor spray and
passing it through a cleaning tunnel.

Any other use which is not considered as part of the operating scope of a hospital
stretcher-trolley.
4.3
TRANSPORT
AND
STORAGE
4.3.1
TRANSPORT
When transporting a stretcher-trolley for storage purposes, it is recommended to perform the
following operations so that it is not exposed to any impact or falling risks:

Strap it to a support structure on the means of transport.

Cover it with a tarpaulin.
-
Operate its braking system.
-
Place it in its low position.
