How to change a cylinder
1. Turn off at the regulator and allow the heater to cool fully before removing
and replacing the cylinder.
2. Remove the hose from the gas cylinder.
3.
Take off the protection baffle.
4.
Put a new gas cylinder in place (see “Installation“).
• Do not attempt to replace the gas cylinder while the appliance is in
operation.
• The gas cylinder should be replaced in accordance with the operating
instructions.
•
The gas cylinder must be replaced in a flame-free environment.
• Do not smoke while replacing the gas cylinder.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Maintenance and cleaning must be carried out with the gas supply turned
off and the heater cold. Do not attempt to clean the heater while it is in
use.
•
Your heater should be checked annually by a qualified person for safe
operation and to detect any faults.
• If any faults are detected in use, stop using the heater and contact your
dealer for advice.
• Periodically clean the exterior and rear cylinder, storage area of your
heater to remove dust an lint built-up, which may affect operation of the
heater light.
• Vacuuming with a soft brush will remove any dust built-up on the surfaces
of the ceramic elements. Do not scrape or knock these elements as they
may become very fragile with use.
• Do not use abrasive products to clean the heater.
•
Watch the pilot flame while it is in operation. It should burn steadily. If
it flickers or is yellow tipped, the heater should be checked for correct
operation.
• If spare parts are required, only spare parts manufactured by the
manufacturer or recommended by the manufacturer may be used. The use
of spare parts other than those mentioned above is dangerous and leads to
loss of warranty and guarantee.
• Do not use wet rag or sprinkling water on the heater while cleaning. This
may cause a serious problem to the heater. Under the circumstance of
normal usage, contact our agents to conduct regular maintenance. Leave
the heater at a clean and dry area when it is not used.
