4. Maintenance, Cleaning and Care
4.1 Maintenance
The product and its accessories are maintenance-free and must not be
repaired by the users themselves. If you have any questions or problems,
contact your dealer.
4.2 Cleaning
• Switch the product off. Prior to every cleaning, remove the mains plug of the
battery charger (8, 9) from the mains socket and allow all parts to cool down
completely.
• Never use solvents or abrasive cleaners, hard brushes, metallic or sharp
objects when cleaning. Solvents are harmful and can damage plastics,
abrasive cleaners and aids can scratch surfaces.
• Clean the battery charger (8, 9), the product and the remote control with a
slightly damp cloth. Afterwards dry all parts with a dry cloth.
WARNING – Do not immerse the product in water or other
liquids. Do not hold the product under running water. Danger
of electrocution!
4.3 Storage and Transportation
• Clean the product and its accessories as described in paragraph 4.2. Cleaning .
NOTE – Store the product in a dry, clean place, inaccessible for
children, preferable in its original packaging.
• If you want to transport the product and its accessories, ensure that it is
switched off and completely cooled down. It is recommended to always use
the original packaging or the provided carrying bag.
• Ensure that the product cannot fall down or fall over during transport.
• Protect the product from impact and vibrations, especially when transporting
it in vehicles.
WARNING – The product contains a built-in Li-Ion battery. Li-
Ion batteries are deemed dangerous goods for transportation
and may only be transported if permitted by local provisions
and regulations.
NOTE – If you are planning to travel with the product by
plane or any other means of transportation, check with your
transportation company if transport of the product is possible
and permitted.
