SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully before use!
•
Always wear ear protection during the whole time you are exposed to harmful noise.
•
The ear protection must not be used if they are damaged.
•
The ear protection must not be exposed to chemicals.
•
The audibility of warning signals is impaired when wearing the ear protection.
•
The ear protection must be adjusted as instructed.
•
The ear protection and, in particular, the ear cushions, may be damaged over a period of time and
shall be checked regularly to see if there are any cracks or noise leakage.
•
The fitting of hygiene covers to the cushions may affect the acoustic performance of the ear
protection.
•
Failure to follow these instructions will mean that the product does not meet the requirements in the
specified standards.
When used correctly, and with the right care, this ear protection provides excellent protection that filters
out high-frequency noise. High-frequency noise constitutes the greatest noise problem from machinery
such as engineering equipment, chainsaws, etc.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1.
Extend the headband as far as possible and place the ear protection over your ears with the
headband over your head.
2.
Place the headband over your head while you adjust the height of the ear protection until they feel
comfortable and the headband is resting on your head.
3.
The ear protection must fit tightly against your head.
4.
Adjust the length of the headband to ensure noise is effectively shut out.
Put on the ear protection before you expose yourself to noise, and keep the protection in place for as long
as the noise lasts.
The ear protection is a normal size and fits most users.
The material from which the ear protection is made does not cause skin irritation, allergic reactions or
other negative effects on health.
MAINTENANCE
1.
Clean/disinfect the outside of the hearing protection regularly with soap and lukewarm water. Do
not immerse the ear protection in liquid.
Replacing the ear pads and absorbers
The ear protection will become worn with time and use. Inspect them carefully before use to ensure they
are in good condition.
1.
Pull off the old sealing ring and remove the old damping pad.
2.
Fit a new pad in the earmuff and fit the new sealing ring in place. Make sure that the sealing ring
fits properly around the earmuff.
Storage
We recommend storing the ear protection in a clean, dry plastic bag after use.
