E-scooter maintenance
The e-scooter is assembled by professional technicians. Any attempt to disassemble
and repair the e-scooter or its parts separately may damage the electric e-scooter
and void the manufacturer’s warranty upon delivery.
Required tools
Maintenance
Tire change
1. Place the e-scooter on a stable level so that
both wheels are in the air and the e-scooter held
firmly on the bottom of the footboard.
2. Unscrew the two rear plastic covers.
3. Remove the cables from the motor (on the right side).
4. Loosen the nuts on the motor axis using key 15–18.
5. Remember the exact arrangement and placement of the washers on each side of
the engine. Use professional tools to remove the tires from the engine, taking care
not to damage the engine, rim or tire.
6. Carefully remove the wheel from the frame.
7. To easily slip the tire from the rim, you can rub the rim edge with a drop of liquid soap.
8. Replace the tire with a new one.
9. Put the tire back in place. For easier placement of the tire tube, you can re-use
a drop of liquid soap and moisten the rim edges. Do not use any tools when
fitting the tire, only use your hands.
10. Then follow the previous steps in reverse order.
11. Check that your repair is properly completed and inflate the tire to 4–50 psi
(2.8–3.4 bar).
Lubrication
Every six months regularly maintain the folding system and lubricate the moving
parts, especially the handlebar folding mechanism with a small amount of lubricating
oil. Do not use WD40 and do not lubricate the wheels.
Brakes
The brakes are already directly set from production. If the braking distance is
insufficient or you find the braking to be noisy, contact your dealer to purchase
replacement brake pads if necessary.
Troubleshooting
If the e-scooter is not working normally, check the following:
the e-scooter appears to start; the battery capacity on display; that the brake is re-
leased; whether all connectors and sockets are clean; whether an error message ap-
pears on the display. If the aforementioned operations are performed and the product
is still unable to operate normally, consult your dealer.
