Setup
Credentials:
The credentials page permits the appliance access to other NVR or VMS Servers on the network.
The page will display any device settings which have been previously added.
Press the “Add New Credentials” to open a “New Credentials” dialogue window.
Friendly Name: Easily recognisable name of this appliance you are adding into the NVR/VMS suite.
IPV4 Address: IP address of the NVR/VMS
Port: The IP port number of the NVR/VMS
Username: username of NVR/VMS
Password: password of NVR/VMS
Video Cache: Playout buffer length in milliseconds – default is 500
Prefer UDP over TCP: Stream using a UDP connection – default is TCP
Click “Add Credentials” to apply and accept these settings.
Upon successful addition of valid credentials, the appliance will appear within your chosen
supported VMS client via our pre-installed plug-in. If the ‘Friendly Name’ for the appliance does not
appear within the chosen VMS client toolbar, try one or more of the following actions:
