Owner info

Show owner info on lock screen
: Tap and select the checkmark
to display the owner information on the lock screen. Then tap and
type text to display. If you do not select the checkmark, the input
field will be deactivated.
Encryption
•
Encrypt phone
: Tap to encrypt your accounts, settings, downloaded
apps and their data, and other files. Set a numeric PIN or passwords
for encryption. You must enter the password each time you turn on the
device.
IMPORTANT
:
• You can only decrypt the device by performing factory reset.
• Encrypting your device may take more an hour. Charge your battery
before encrypting, and keep your phone plugged in until encryption
is complete. If not, you may lose some or all of your data.
Passwords
•
Make password visible
: By default, the device hides passwords for
security when you enter them. Tap and select the checkmark to make
the passwords visible as they are entered.
Device administration
•
Device administrators
: Tap to view or deactivate device administra-
tors.
•
Unknown sources
: Tap and select the checkmark to allow your
device to install or download applications from unknown sources.
•
Verify apps
: Tap and select the checkmark to disallow or warn before
installing applications that may cause harm
Credential storage
•
Trusted credentials
: Tap to view and disable or enable the trusted
system CA certificates.
•
Install from SD card
: Tap to install certificates from the SD card.
•
Clear credentials
: Tap to remove all certificates.
