STEP 2
To attach the top loop, place the
threaded end thought the small hole
at the top of the assembled domed
screen panels. Hold in place and
secure with a nut on the inside of
the screen (You may need to slightly
loosen the fasteners closest to the top
of the screen to insert the threaded
end of the loop, after the loop is
assembled, retighten all nuts and
bolts.
If you are assembling the domed screens for the SFP382216R-B Blue Sky
Smokeless Fire Pit – you will receive enough parts to build two screens. Sort
the parts by size before you start your assembly. They are forming a rectangle
so some of the parts are wider than others. Four parts are wider than the
other 4 parts.
Alternate sections - wide section, narrow section, wide section and then
narrow section – when you assemble the screen. After assembly of the first
screen, assemble the second screen. Attach a loop to each of the screens per
the instruction listed above.
Use the screen lift, included with each domed screen, to remove and place
the screen on a fire pit using the top loop. Screens can become very hot
when used during a fire and can take time to cool down. Make sure they are
completely cooled before touching the screens.
The screens can be stored inside the fire pits – they can be inverted to hang
inside the Blue Sky fire pit. Please remove any unburned wood or pellets or
burned residue prior to storing your screen inverted inside the corresponding
fire pit.
