SmartDial is special technology developed to simplify satellite dialing, making satellite dialing the same as familiar land-line
dialing. This technology also simplifies PABX to RJ-11 interface.

ASE’s SmartDial feature is unique by making satellite dialing as familiar as land-line dialing. When used with the 9575A
handset, SmartDial is even more advanced by inserting special codes as needed to assist with satellite dialing procedures.
SmartDial recognizes country and area codes and automatically dials when correct number of digits are entered. If the dialing
sequence is not recognized, the call cannot be initiated and the ‘0 0 #’ dialing method must be used.

NOTE:
SmartDial automatically disengages itself when standard satellite dialing prefixes are recognized. See ‘Calling Without
SmartDial’.
CALLING WITH SMARTDIAL
RJ-11/POTS
SmartDial turns off automatically when using the following dialing sequence:
1.
Enter 0 0 (zero zero).
2.
Enter the country code.
3.
Enter the area code and telephone number.
4.
Enter # to place call.
The docking station does not recognize country codes or number string lengths with SmartDial off. You must enter all digits
correctly and press # to initiate the call. The docking station does not automatically dial with SmartDial off.
PRIVACY HANDSET
1.
Remove from hang-up cup.
2.
Enter number to call using international dialing sequences.
3.
Press SEND (green button) to initiate dialing sequence.
4.
P
ress END (red button) to terminate call.
CALLING WITHOUT SMARTDIAL
An incoming call will ring the 9575A Handset as well as an RJ-11/POTS connected phone.
RJ-11/POTS
Go off-hook or press the on/off button on your connected 2-wire phone.
PRIVACY HANDSET
1.
Remove from hang-up cup.
2.
Press SEND to answer.
3.
Press END to terminate call.
