Quick Start Guide
This concludes setting up the IP address for the media player. The rear IP port
can now be connected to the computer or network that will be uploading content
to the media player.
In this example unit, since it is direct connected to the computer and not through
a network, the settings used are:
IP Address
= 172.16.70.3
Gateway
= 172.16.70.100
Netmask
= 255.255.255.0
DNS 1
= 8.8.8.8
DNS 2
= 8.8.4.4
IMPORTANT:
The DNS addresses and all other fields must be
populated for the
SAVE
to take effect. Using 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
for DNS are suggested upon opening those fields. The unit in the
example is not attached to a network, so the suggested defaults
are ok for use. If your unit is going to be attached to a network,
use the settings your network administrator provides.
NOTE:
All five fields
MUST
be
populated in
order for
SAVE
to
apply changes.
