6.6 "Main > Settop Control> DHCP” Screen

The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) screen is a read-only status of the server.  

DHCP is the communication protocol which centrally manages the assignment of receiver IP addresses.

DHCP Database: IP addresses in database assigned to each receiver

Detected IPs: IP address retrieved from receivers.

Please note that the very first time that the receiver is connected to a "Clean" HDE-8C-QAM database each receiver 

will get a new IP address. However, after the first time the HDE-8C-QAM will remember the MAC address for each 

receiver and after any power up, the HDE-8C-QAM will provide a same IP address to the Receiver.
