wall hood installation

step 1

Install the wall bracket at the predetermined loca-
tion for the vent hood  You will find several holes in
the bracket allowing the installer to fasten directly
to multiple studs in the wall  Secure the wall bracket
to the wall studs using the appropriate screws ( not
included ) for the material you are mounting to  It
is critical that this mounting bracket be thoroughly
secured to the wall through the wall studs

A -

10 1/4” from the side edge of the hood to the center of the duct

B -

5 11/16” from the wall to the center of the duct (using the included mountin bracket which is be-

tween the wall and hood and is roughly 1/8” thick)

C -

21 1/4” from the center of the duct to the center of the duct

*Note: the two included transition pieces come ready to accept 8” ducting

step 2

Install the vent hood bracket to the vent hood  Match the
openings in the vent hood bracket to those on the hood
Use the included screws to tighten the bracket securely to
the vent hood

step 3

Hang the vent hood on the wall bracket  You will see 2
rectangular openings between the vent hood bracket
and the hood itself  These two openings will install
over and down into place in the corresponding open-
ings on the wall bracket   Once in place, secure the
vent hood bracket to the wall bracket with the appro-
priate screws for the material you are mounting to
 (not provided)
