TO BE DONE BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL
ONLY
1. Turn off the gas valve, disconnect the gas
and electricity to the appliance.
2. Remove the face trim, safety screen, and
glass door as shown in “
GLASS DOOR
REMOVAL
”
3. If the optional log set is being used note
locations, remove, and set aside.
4. Remove fl oor glass and side panels, and
set aside.
5. Remove the fl oor plate assembly and set
aside. (

6. Undo the inlet gas lines from valve.
7. Disconnect all electrical connections to
valve including ground wire.
8. Remove the screws securing the burner and
valve assembly to the to the fi rebox. Pull
the burner and valve assembly up out of the
fi rebox. (

9. Undo the gas lines and pilot line from the
valve.
10. Remove the four screws holding the valve
and valve bracket to the fi rebox bottom and
remove the valve.
11. Installation is the reverse order of the
previous steps.
NOTE: WHEN INSTALLING NEW VALVE,
CHECK THAT ALL UNUSED PORTS ARE
PLUGGED.
CHECK OUTLET PRESSURE (3.8” W.C.)
NOTE: CHECK FOR LEAKS
