Extending TIM Standby Time

Once the device is switched off, TIM
remains on standby for two hours. This
period can be extended to 24 hours.

Activate TIM.

Switch the car radio off with button

“TIM 2H” appears in the display.

Hold the TIM button

 pressed for

longer than one second.

“TIM 24H” appears in the display.

Note:

To protect the vehicle battery, the
extension of TIM standby time only
remains active until the car radio is
next turned on.

Cassette Operation

Cassette Play

If there is no cassette in the device

Press the 

 button

The flip-release panel opens.

Insert the cassette into the cassette
slot with the open side to the right.

Close the control unit.

The cassette starts playing with the side
that is facing upwards.

If there is already a cassette in the
device

Press the CD•C button 

?

 until

“CASSETTE” appears in the dis-
play.

The cassette is played in whichever di-
rection was last selected.

Cassette Ejection

Press the 

 button

The flip-release panel opens and the
cassette is ejected.

Remove the cassette and close the
release panel

Insert a new cassette.
