OPERATION 

TURN THE UNIT ON/OFF 

Turn on the unit by pressing the 

 button. 

When the system is on, press and hold the 

  button (2) for 2 seconds to turn off the 

unit. 

SOUND ADJUSTMENT 

Press the 

SEL

 button (21) briefly to select 

the desired adjustment mode. The 
adjustment mode changes in the following 
order: 
 -BAS-TRE-BAL-FAD- VOL- 

BAS: bass 

TRE: treble 

BAL: balance 

FAD: fader 

VOL: volume 

By rotating the audio knob (21), it is 
possible to adjust the desired sound quality. 

Press and hold the 

SEL

 button (21) for 2 seconds 

to call up the system menu. 

Press 

SEL

 button (repeatedly):

TA volume: 

It defines the minimum volume for traffic 
announcements. The adjustable range is 
20–43. The default value is 25. Rotate the 
volume knob to adjust the volume of the 
traffic announcement. 

LOC ON/OFF: 

Rotate the audio knob (21) 

to turn local function on/off. In LOC ON 
mode, the unit reduces the receiving 
sensitivity when you search for stations. 
That means, stations with strong signals 
are received, stations with weak signals are 
ignored. In LOC OFF mode, it increases 
the receiving sensitivity when you search 
for stations. That means, you can receive 
more stations. 

STEREO/MONO: 

Rotate the audio knob 

(21) to choose STEREO or MONO mode. 
In STEREO mode, you can receive FM 
stereo signals. In MONO mode, the stereo 
signal is switched to mono. Sometimes 
when the signal is poor, switching to MONO 
mode will reduce the noise.

BEEP ON/OFF: 

The car audio device is 

equipped with 2 beep tone modes. Rotate 
the volume knob to choose one. 

- Beep On mode: The confirmation beep 
sound is heard whenever a button is 
pressed. 
- Beep Off mode: The confirmation beep is 
not heard whenever a key is pressed. 

EUROPE/USA: 

Rotate the volume to 

select the region EUROPE or USA.   

EQ (Equalization) 

Press it briefly to select the preset EQ 
mode as shown below: 

FLAT—CLASSICS—POP—ROCK—EQ 
OFF
