–  MP3: 32 to 320 kbps 
–  WMA: 64 to 192 kbps 

• Maximum number of files and 

directories: Up to 20,000 entries 
depending on the data structure 

•  CHANGING TO CD/MP3/WMA MODE 

Press the 

SRC

 button (1) repeatedly 

until the desired audio source is 
displayed: 

•  "CD": Inserted CD 

•  "SD(HC)": Inserted memory card 

•  "USB": Connected USB data carrier 

•  "AUX": Connected external audio 

source 

Notes: 

•  The respective audio source can be 

selected only if a corresponding CD 
is inserted or a corresponding device 
is connected. 

•  If the car sound system first has to 

read the data of a connected device 
data carrier before the playback, the 
display shows "READING". The 
duration of the reading depends on 
the data volume and design of the 
device or data carrier. If the device 
or data carrier is defective or the 
transferred data cannot be played 
back, a corresponding message 
appears on the display (e. g. "USB 
ERROR").

SELECTING TRACKS/FILES 

Press the

button (11) or

button (6) to move to the previous or the 
next track/file. The track/file number is 
shown on the display. 
Hold the 

button (11) or

 button 

(6) to fast reverse or fast forward. Disc 
play starts at the point you release the 
button.

PLAY/PAUSE 

Press the

button (19) to pause 

playback. Press it again to resume 
playback.

SCAN PLAY ALL TRACKS/FILES 

Press the 

SCN

 button (18) to play the 

first seconds of each track/file. Press 
again to stop intro play and listen to the 
track/file.

REPEATING THE SAME TRACK/FILE 

Press the 

RPT

 button (17) to 

continuously repeat the same track/file. 
Press it again to repeat all the 
tracks/files.

PLAYING ALL TRACKS IN RANDOM

Press the 

RDM

 button (16) to play all 

tracks/files in random order. Press it 
again to cancel the random function.

EJECTING A DISC 

Press the 

 button (8) to stop disc 

play and eject the disc from the disc slot 
(4).
