FINAL FABRICATION
PORT allows you to vary the port tube diameter (for vented boxes of
course) and calculate the proper length considering this diameter.
To enter the PORT function, cursor until you highlight PORT, hit ENTER and
a window will open up showing the tuning frequency(s) for the box.
The
cursor highlights the area asking for a diameter, enter a diameter (for
example, 4.0 inches), hit ENTER, and the port tube length for this tuning
frequency and diameter will be shown.
You
keep in mind that the port
may become too long inside a particular box but this can be easily
remedied by using and shaped PVC.
