MODIFY BOX

BLAUBOX will automatically default to optimum

 for a given

woofer and box style.

But, using MODIFY BOX, the user can force the box

volume to something larger, or smaller, than optimum.

"Optimum" is

defined as the smallest box with a reasonably flat frequency response.

If you have a particular box size in mind, first highlight USER-SPECIFIED

BOX

and a window will open up asking for your desired box volume

Using the numbers on the keyboard, type in the desired box volume

 hit

the CONTROL and ENTER keys simultaneously to accept the value.

MATH

BOX MATH is a handy calculator used to convert dimensions and volumes

common to the speaker engineering area such as liters and cubic feet.

To enter this function, highlight BOX MATH, hit ENTER, and a window will
give you several choices of conversions.

For example, when measuring the

trunk in a car, most people use a ruler in inches.
inches x inches] you get cubic inches,

Multiplying [inches x

but many are lost in the conversion

to cubic feet which is necessary for most box designs.

Simply cursor down

to CONVERT CUBIC IN TO CUBIC FT, hit the ENTER key, enter the value in
cubic inches, and the value in cubic feet will be immediately shown.

Other conversion functions under BOX MATH work similarly.
