Notes and accessories

Before placing your device into operation, 
carefully read these instructions and famil-
iarise yourself with the device. Keep these 
instructions in the vehicle for subsequent 
questions.

If you still have questions concerning the 
operation of the device or about service, 
please contact the phone hotline in your 
country (charges may be incurred depend-
ent upon the country). You will fi nd the tel-
ephone number printed at the back of these 
operating instructions.

Road safety

Road safety has absolute priority. 

Only operate your device if the road 
and traffi c conditions allow you to 
do so. 

Familiarise yourself with the device 
before setting off on your journey. 

You should always be able to hear po-
lice, fi re and ambulance sirens in good 
time from inside your vehicle. 

For this reason, listen to your car 
sound system at a suitable volume 
level during your journey.

Disposal of old unit 

(EU countries only)

 Do not dispose of your old device in 
the household trash!

Use the return and collection sys-

tems available to dispose of the old device.

Connecting add-on devices 
(option)

The CCU 02 (Coach Control Unit) is the 
central control panel of the Coach Profes-
sional line which allows you to separately 
adjust and control the audio and image 
sources for the bus for the driver (cockpit) 
and the passengers (cabin). The CCU 02 
can only be operated in conjunction with 
the amplifi er CPA 81 or CPA 121 (Coach 
Power Amplifi er).

Note:

The CCU 02 does not have its own dis-
play; all displays of the CCU 02 are out-
put either via optional DVD/CD player 
CVX 02, via the display (LCD monitor 
CLX) of a TravelPilot Coach Professional 
connected as an option, or via the op-
tional multi-function display of the ve-
hicle for the driver. 

The following add-on devices can be con-
nected to the CCU 02 (not part of the scope 
of delivery):

Display unit and DVD/CD player CVX 02

to display the settings (display) and to play 
back DVDs/CDs.

CD changer CDC

 

two CD changers for playback of CDs 
for the cockpit and the cabin area (two 
CD changers can be connected if a CPA 
121 system amplifi er is used. 

If you are using a CPA 81 system ampli-
fi er, you can connect a CD changer.)

Video player, DVD player or TV tuner

two additional video sources (video or 
DVD player or TV-Tuner) can be con-
nected in addition to the CVX 02 for 
playback of videos or DVDs or for TV re-
