CHILD LOCK/LOCKING THE HOB
To prevent the cooking zone setting from being altered, e.g. when cleaning the glass, the Glase,
operating buttons (except the [
] button) can be locked.
“Chef“ function (only for 5IX80290)
This function changes the hob in 2 big zones.
Activating the lock:

Switch on the hob
Press [
] for 2 sec.

Switch on lock
Hold the button of a cooking zone for
3s. Then place your finger on the Smart
Slider and slide your finger
from left to
right
Light on
Switch off lock
Hold the button of a cooking zone for
3s. Then place your finger on the Smart
Slider and slide your finger
from right
to left
Light off
Start up/stop the chef function:

Engage the chef function

[ 5 ] and [ ] on the right,
[ 9 ] and [ ] on the left
Stop the chef function
