Changing the tune-up kit
The tune-up kit consists of the blastwheel, the cage and a bolt. (8.1 + 8.2 + 8.3)
Use the hardened M8x35 + Spring washer (8.3) which are provided in the tune-up kit.
Remove the feed spout
Remove the cage clamps ( 10 )
Remove the cage ( 8.1 ) and blastwheel
cover plate ( 7 )
Block the blastwheel ( 8.2) and remove
the central fixing bolt (8.3)
Take the blastwheel out of the housing
Use a new central fixing bolt (8.3) when mounting
a new blastwheel
Place the blastwheel on the hub (13) and
tighten the central fixing bolt.
Fix the blastwheel cover plate with 4 nuts
Insert the control cage in the center and
clamp the cage with the control clamps so
that the blastwheel can rotate freely
Turn the blastwheel manually. It must rotate freely.
Place the feed spout between the abrasive valve and the cage.
New blastwheel coverplates have 2 welded nuts which will make it easier to
remove the coverplate without damages. Use 2 M10 bolts and screw them in
the welded nuts until the blastwheel coverplate is released from the
blasthousing.
