27. Save in Local Stat Mux Screen
Purpose:
Notify the user that a copy of the configuration of the remote stat mux has been permanently stored
in the local stat mux. To do this, select Item 1) on the Remote STM Configuration menu (23).
NOTE
The remote configuration does not override the local configuration: it is only stored
for receiving and backup purposes.

28. Transfer Configuration from Local to Remote Screen
Purpose:
Show that the stat mux is executing the required actions after selecting Item 2 on the Remote STM
Configuration menu (23).
Description:
This screen is displayed after selecting item 2 on the Remote STM Configuration menu (23), while the
configuration of the local stat mux is transmitted to the remote stat mux, for viewing it there, or for back-up
purposes. In most cases, the screen is displayed for a very short interval; under certain traffic conditions, you
may become aware of the transmission delay, so this screen is used to notify that the required action is being
carried out:
TRANSFER CONFIGURATION FROM LOCAL TO REMOTE
WAIT FOR SAVING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
If you want to exit, press
Q
. No action is required on this screen, and after the remote configuration
information is received, the acknowledgement screen shown below is automatically displayed:
LOCAL CONFIGURATION HAS BEEN SAVED
ON REMOTE STM
Press
Q
to exit.
However, the screen does provide you with the option to leave without seeing the acknowledgement message;

to return to the Remote STM Configuration menu (23) while configuration transfer is being
performed.
29. Prepare Remote Stat Mux Configuration Menu
Purpose:
This menu is used to select the configuration task to be carried out on the remote stat mux.
Description:
Menu functions are similar to the corresponding functions of the Main menu (1).
