X-ON CONTROL CHARACTER

Used to display X-ON character selection screen

1

X-OFF CONTROL CHARACTER

Used to display X-OFF character selection screen

2

MODIFY PASSWORD

Used to display password changing screen

3

REMOTE STM CONFIGURATION

Used to display the main menu used for remote STM
configuration

Q

EXIT

Used to return to the main menu

Procedure:

To select a configuration task, type the corresponding code number: the stat mux will switch to the

corresponding screen. Type

Q

to return to the main menu.

3. X-ON Control Character Screen

Purpose:

View the character currently used to start data transfer when using software flow control, and select

another character if desired.

Description:

Code numbers 1 through 8 present the various characters that you can use as X-ON control characters:
11H (DC1), 12H (DC2), 13H (DC3), 14H (DC4), 91H, 92H, 93H, or 94H.

The CURRENT STATE line shows the X-ON character now in use.

Procedure:

To change the current selection, type the code number corresponding to the desired character; always check
that this character is different from the current X-OFF control character. The CURRENT STATE line reflects
the change.

To exit with or without change, type

Q

. You will return to the System Configuration menu (2 above).
