ASYNC/SYNC FIBER OPTIC MULTIPLEXOR
Four setup procedures must be completed before the multiplexor can
be installed and operated: selecting the number of subchannels, setting
synchronous data rates, selecting the transmit clock (TC) source, and setting
the ground. Refer to the board layout in Figure 3-1, below, for the location
of the straps (jumpers) and switches referred to in the rest of this chapter.
