5. General Setup
Once you click on the General Setup button from the Home screen, the screen in
Figure 5-1 appears.
If you have already configured the Quick Setup Wizard (
Chapter 4
), you do
not
need to configure anything in the General Setup screen for you to start using the
Internet.
The General Setup option contains advanced features that allow you to configure
the router to meet your network’s needs, such as wireless, bridge, address
mapping, virtual server, access control, hacker attack prevention, special
applications, DMZ, and other functions.

Table 5-1 provides a general description of what advanced functions are available
for this router.
