Figure 3-2 shows the location of Jumper W3. This jumper allows you to select 2- or
4-wire operation. The factory setting is full duplex.

Jumper W1 provides the option of tying signal ground to frame ground. The
position is left open at the factory. If signal ground is to be connected to frame
ground, it is recommended that a 100-ohm

-watt resistor be soldered in location
W1. A hardwire jumper may also be used; however, a measurement showing
minimal difference between signal and frame ground should be made to ensure
that ground circulating currents are limited to acceptable levels.
