2.3 Back-Panel Connectors

Two connectors are located on the LD485S’s rear panel:

• One DB25 female connector, configured as DCE; connects the line driver to

an RS-232 DTE device.

• One 4-screw terminal block: for RS-485 communication between two or more

Line Drivers over two or four wires.
