The tool basket pivots 135 degrees and can be
locked into 10 different positions within that range.
warnInG:
Before connecting the
extension cord to the unit, be sure the tool
and the tool basket are locked into position.
• Unlock the lever (12) and adjust the
angle of the tool basket to desired angle
as shown in
figure I
.
• Lock the lever so the tool basket stays
securely in place.

A power plug (21) is built into the extension
pole (7). It is designed to only plug into the
special receptacle on the tools power cord.
• Connect the tools power cord (3) to the
pole plug (21) as shown in
figure j
.
note:
When adapter is not in use during
pole mode, wrap the hook and loop teather
around the extension pole to prevent the
adapter from interfering with operation.
adjuSting tHe pole lengtH
warnInG:
always check to make
sure that the extension coupling is
completely tightened and that the extension
pole does not move before using or
transporting the tool.
Not tightening the
coupling completely could result in the tool head
unexpectedly moving, creating a hazardous
condition. Periodically check the connection to
ensure that the coupling is fully tightened.
• Rotate the pole extension coupling (13)
a quarter turn counterclockwise.
• While holding the extension coupling
slide the tool basket (11) head with one
hand away from the extension coupling.
This will reveal the extension pole..
note:
The tool can be operated at any
length of the extension pole.
• Once desired extension length is
acquired, rotate the pole extension
coupling (13) clockwise until it stops and
fully secures the extension pole in place.

This tool utilizes an adapter to connect to
standard extension cords.
• Connect the teathered adapter plug (22)
to the tool as shown in
figure k
.
• Connect extension cord to the adapter plug.

• Push and hold the lock-off button (1) to the
right or to the left and then squeeze the
trigger switch (2) as shown in
figure l
.
• Release the lock-off button.
note:
Once the tool is on, the lock-off
button can be released.
SwITcHInG off
• Release the trigger switch (1).
warnInG:
Never attempt to lock
the switch in the on position.
