Commissioning
For a detailed description, please refer to the com-
pressor operating instructions KB-104 and KB-520:
• Check tightness
• Evacuate
• Refrigerant charge
• Checks before starting
!
!
NOTICE
To prevent damage to the compressor, you
must ensure that the oil heater is operated as
described in the operating instructions of the
compressor KB-104.
• Compressor start

Operation
9.1
Regular tests
The condensing unit must be checked by a specialist at
regular intervals. The inspection intervals depend on
the refrigerant, the cooling medium and the operation
mode. They must be defined by the system operator.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to escaping vapour on the
pressure relief valve
Do not work in the area where the vapour es-
capes from the pressure relief valve!
Check the following points:
• Oil level of the compressor.
• Evaporation temperature.
• Suction gas temperature.
• Condensing temperature.
• Difference between condensing temperature and air
intake temperature into the condenser.
• Discharge gas temperature.
• Oil temperature.
• Cycling rate.
• Current consumption of the compressor.
• Current consumption of the condenser fan(s).
• Visual inspection of the cables and of the electrical
connection points.
• Tightness of the refrigerating circuit.
