VH-900 SERIES FRONT END LOADER
2. Use extreme caution when operating the loader on a slope and keep the bucket as low as
possible. This keeps the bucket and tractor center of gravity low and will provide maximum
tractor stability.
CAUTION: OPERATING THE LOADER ON A HILLSIDE IS DANEROUS. EXTREME
CARE IS RECOMMENDED.
Operating with Float Control
1. During hard surface operation, keep the bucket level and put the lift control in the float
position to permit the bucket to float on the working surface. If hydraulic down pressure is
exerted on the bucket, it will wear faster than normal.
2. The float will also prevent the mixing of surface material with stockpile material. The float
position will reduce the chance of surface gouging when removing snow or other material.
Recommendations
1. Do not lift objects with the loader using a chain. This could damage the bucket.
2. Do not push or hit bucket against posts or tree trunks, since this could damage the arms of
the loader.
