Select the
Search Automatically
check box (UDP protocol must be enabled on the
net-work.
Click the
Scan
button. SecureAdmin scans the network for connected devices and lists
the results. Devices with "plus" signs in their icon are available to add.
In the list, click the
icon of the device
you want to register. The server communication
parameter dialog box is displayed. A
Register Device
dialog box is displayed.
Select the
communication parameter
(if connecting via RS-232 or RS-485), enter
the appropriate Port, Baud Rate, Device ID, and select the communication protocol
from the drop-down. If connecting via enter the network IP address of the device
(selectthe DHCP check box if dynnamic IP addressing is used).
