Note:
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited
• Batteries are to be inserted with correct polarity
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the unit
CAUTION
Should you encounter any problems with the FP425
simply press the RESET button which is underneath
the back cover of the watch. All data previously
input into the device will be deleted. Upon start
up, all necessary data will have to be re-entered. If
this unit should on a rare occasion fail to function,
press and hold the SET button in order to clear all
data, after which you can input all necessary data again. Should this fail to
correct the situation, remove the batteries and then put them back into the
battery compartment. Turn the device on by pressing the MODE button, and
then follow all the steps mentioned above in order to input the necessary data
once more.
Appendix
Finding Your Target Heart Rate Zone:
To find your target heart rate zone, use the formula: HRmax = 220 – age
From this, you can figure out the rest of your exercise zones. See the table for
examples.
Light Intensity Zone (50-60% of HRmax)
- should be used for daily activities
and light chores. There are some health benefits.
