Chapter 13. Warranty Statement
BioCare Corporation guarantees the absence of defects in the finished product and materials of the
new equipment within one year starting from the date of shipping, under normal usage and services.
With this guarantee, BioCare is only responsible for repairing or changing parts that are inspected and
deemed malfunctioned at the BioCare’s discretion.
Other than the statement above, BioCare does not provide any other guarantees, including
guarantees involving sales of merchandize for specific purpose or qualification.
Exemption of Lability
BioCare’s duty or responsibility under this guarantee does not include: incorrect use or application
of product or use of components or parts not approved by BioCare; or direct, indirect or inevitable
damages due to maintenance performed by individuals not authorized by BioCare; or any transportation
or other expenses or responsibilities due to delay.
This guarantee does not include any erroneous, careless use of or malfunctioned instruments; does
not include any instruments for which the original BioCare serial label or product identification No. has
been modified or removed; nor does it include any products manufactured by other manufacturers.
Safety, Reliability and Performance
If the installation, addition, modification, revision or maintenance was not performed by BioCare
authorized personnel, or was not performed in accordance with the User Manual, or the power
configuration does not comply with National Power Regulation or Healthcare Equipment Standard
(the rooms must comply with the power installation directive issued by regional or local government),
