BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Before the first use run your toaster once
without putting bread inside to eliminate the for-
eign smells and dust that may accumulate on
the heating elements.
OPERATING MANUAL
1. Place your toaster upon a dry, smooth flat
level surface.
2. Plug into a wall outlet with the same voltage
as marked on the toaster case.
3. Set the toast browning control

to the
position you need. The control
(3)
may be
set into any one of seven possible positions —
1 to 7 (1 — light browning, 7 — maximum
browning).
Note:
dry thin slices will be ready much faster than wet
thick ones.
4. Place one or two slices of bread into the slots

and pull the
lever

down as far as it will go to switch your toaster on.
Warning:
when removing the toast, be careful not to burn
yourself on the very hot metallic slot

frames.
5. If you need to interrupt the toasting process press the ejection
button

— the toaster will switch off and the loading lever

will go up.
6. If the toaster has switched off, but the toast is not ready, adjust
the browning control using the control handle
