SPECIAL SAFETY MEASURES
Only place the heated or connected appliance
on an even, dry, heat-resistant surface.
Do not allow foreign objects between the heated
parts of the appliance, as this can cause electrical
shock.
Never cover the appliance or put it on soft
surfaces, for example, a bed etc.
Avoid direct contact of the hot parts of the appliance with the
skin of the head.
Do not use this appliance near a bath, sink or other places
where there is liquid.
For additional protection it is advisable to install a residual cur-
rent device (RCD) having a rated tripping current of not more
than 30 mA into the mains circuit of the bathroom. Consult a
qualified electrician for help.
Always disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply
immediately after its use.
Do not use the appliance when you are sleepy or sluggish.
To prevent cord damage, never wind the cord round the ap-
pliance.
Never use the appliance on wet hair.
Never use the appliance for curling wigs made from synthetic
hair.
Do not use the appliance, if you have severely damaged hair.
Do not keep the appliance on one area of hair for more than
10 seconds.

Wipe the case of the appliance and the work-
ing surface with slightly damp soft cloth.
Only use the appliance for styling dry hair.
To achieve the optimum effect use hair styling
products.
