5. Close the lid

(3)

and put the appliance onto the base

(9)

.

Warning:

check the correct positioning of the appliance –

the water dispenser

(6)

should be under the tray for

drops.

Warning:

make sure that the power on/off switch is not

pressed.

6. Plug the power cord into a wall outlet with the same voltage as

indicated on the appliance. Your appliance dispenses 250ml of
boiling water each time (approximately equivalent to a stan-
dard mug). Place a suitable cup containing a tea bag, coffee,
sugar, etc. below the dispensing nozzle

(6)

on the

metal pro-

tection cover

(8)

.

7. Switch the appliance on by pressing the power on/off switch

will flash on as well as the inside backlighting of the water

container

(5)

to indicate the beginning of the boiling process.

Few seconds before the end of the boiling process the power
on/off switch

(2)

will automatically go back to the initial posi-

tion.

8. 250ml of boiling water will be dispensed into the cup. Your

appliance is now ready to use again. If, after just having boiled,
the on/off switch doesn’t stay in the on position, wait a few
seconds before trying it again. The appliance should cool down
a bit.

Attention:

beware of accidentally operating the on/off

switch. If you do, immediately switch it off again.

Attention:

if your appliance has been switched on for more

than 15 seconds, hot water will still be dispensed. Do
not attempt to move your appliance from the base.
Allow the water to escape into the drip tray. Beware
of hot water splashing from the drip tray.

Attention:

if you have started the boil procedure and then

decide to switch off your appliance, always allow it to
stand for 1 minute before removing it from the power
base for refilling etc.
