Vacuum pump is running, but bag cannot
be made completely airtight or cannot be
sealed.
1.
Adjust the bag and try again. Make sure
that the open end of the bag is facing
downwards inside the vacuum channel.
2.
Check to ensure that the sealing foam is
not loose or torn. The sealing foam can
be removed, replaced and reinserted.
3.
Check for food debris around seal area
and heat strip. Remove any food debris.
Make sure that the heat strip is inserted.
4.
Make sure that the vacuum sealer is
locked properly during the operating
process.
5. Make sure that one end of the bag is
fully sealed.
Air has re-entered the bag after vacuum
sealing.
1.
Examine the seal, a wrinkle along the
seal may cause air to re-enter the bag.
To prevent wrinkles in the seal, gently
stretch the bag flat while inserting into
vacuum channel and re-seal.
2.
Moisture or food materials (such as
juices, crumbs, powders etc.) along the
seal sometimes prevent the bag from
sealing properly. Cut bag open, wipe top
inside of bag and re-seal.
3.
Examine food materials, if moisture or
liquid arise from these food materials,
open and re-seal bag, or change to a
new bag.
4. Juice should be frozen before vacuum
sealing.
Bag cannot be sealed properly.
1.
The overheating heat strip will melt the
bag. Open the lid and let the heat strip
cool down for a few minutes.
2.
Wrinkling, moisture or food materials
along seal prevent bag from sealing
well. In general, always wait 40
seconds between vacuum seals.
