3. How to set up display unit
CAUTION
If wrong values are indicated, perform "3-2 Sensitivity calibration entry [F-3]".
Operating precautions
To prevent incorrect operation, buttons are designed to respond to slow and secure push only.
For the display unit purchased as a part of the Dyna Force set, set up procedure is already
completed on delivery. Therefore, set up is not required unless the original pair is changed.
For the display unit purchased alone or to be used as a replacement, set up of the display unit is
required, as rated capacity and output vary depending on measuring unit. Follow the instructions
shown on the next page for the set up. Neglecting to do so may lead to incorrect measurement.
Unit of displayed values is kN. (eg.: 10kN = 1020kgf)
《 Operation procedure 》
1. Slide the power switch to the 【 MEAS 】 position and release it.
2. While in measurement mode, push SET for 3 seconds or longer. The display unit enters set up
mode and [F-1] is indicated.
Display language on delivery is Japanese. For English, refer to page 8 "[F-13]: Language" and
change the setting.
3. Push , and the setting contents of [F-1], [F-2], [F-3], [F-4], [F-5], [F-7], [F-10], [F-11], [F-12],
[F-13], [F-14] and [F-15] are indicated in sequence.
4. Values of the rated output (RO) and rated capacity (RC) indicated on the inspection sheet and
nameplate of the measuring device appear on the [F-3 ENROLMNT ADJ] display.
5. Ensure the correct values are displayed, and push ZERO to return to measurement mode.
